Become a GALLAN Member

Membership in GALLAN is open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender union members and labor activists and their allies.

While not wanting to be exclusive, it is the sense of the group that dominance by union members and the “rank and file” is indispensable to the class politics we want to represent and pursue.

Membership dues are $15 - $50 per year at the discretion of the member.

• Membership meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month (excluding holidays).
• The membership is responsible for setting policy and developing the overall agenda and strategy of GALLAN.
• $10 of each member’s dues is paid to the national Pride At Work for membership to the national organization.

A five member Steering Committee is elected annually by the majority of voting members at a monthly meeting. The current Steering Committee members are:
